Your Hobby can make some money on Internet

    Tuesday, February 12, 2008, 02:31 AM [General]

About a year ago, I saw some link to a website, which sells stock photos.

On checking, I found that you can up load your pictures on their website, free of charge. Of course they have rules regarding quality of pictures and model rights.

They put your pictures on sale. If some one downloads your picture, you get a sale royalty.

I found that interesting, and being a hobby photographer, I uploaded one of my picture. I was a bit curious to know, what happens.

Then, one find day, I got a pleasent surprise to see, that some one have downloaded my picture, and I got some small money for that. The money was too small, but I was a bit over joyed. Because, I got money from some totally unexpected avenue.

A year later, now I have many many pictures on line, and time and again, one of them gets down loaded by who ever.

My ( hobby and free )money has grown much more now.

My son laughs at this, but encourages me to upload more pics.

You think it is funny? just check my profile page on dreamstime : http://www.dreamstime.com/resp264239

I only want to say, every one in this world has now opportunity to do a small business from your home, with no investment. But, you need to have some hobby, and some compession about what you do.

Like me, if you too like to take pictures, and have a camera, just log on the that website.

    Register and start uploading pictures.

A word of caution. The website is a very professional one, and your pictures may get rejected. Dont give up. Initially, over 100 of my pictures got rejected.

But, that make me learn some photography and shoot more pictures.

I became better photoghrapher now, and less of my pics now get rejected.

    Wish you all the best.

Check my pictures, and tell me what you think of them.

    Arun.

Make your Hobbies pay you some money

    Tuesday, February 12, 2008, 02:10 AM [General]

I just read a blog about "On Line Marketing", and so, want to share my good experience.

I used to do occasional hobby photography.

Then, some how, probably on a blog like this, I saw some website called dreamstime.

On checking I found that this is a place where you can upload your pictures. They do not charge for upload. But, they put your photo on site for sell.

Of course, you need to register (which i found was free).

Being just curious, I uploaded one of my picture a year ago. They do check the content and quality of your picture, and be prepared for a rejection.

any way, one fine day, I found that some one have down loaded my picture, and i got some small money as sale royelty.

It was a very small money, but, I felt great. A year later, I now have over 51 images on line, and the income have increased. It sure is not million or even thousands, but, it is some money, and I get it for my hobby, which is photography.

My son fined it amusing, but encourages me to do more.

But, it is true, that Internet have given millions of people and opportunity to earn money from your hobby, from your home.

Curious about my photography site ? Ok, check http://www.dreamstime.com/resp264239

May be , you too have a camera, and you too can make some money.

    All the best.

Oh, by the way, why not give your comments on what I have just said ???

    Arun.

Hello Friends,

I made another sculpture. This is a Christmas House. You can see the snow on the roof, which is made with white chocolate.

I have added reindeer, christmas tree and of course The Santa to it.

Hope you like it.
